Baldwin Girls Golf competed at the Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Topeka yesterday (9/21) and earned 1st place with 332 points and by 32 points. The Bulldogs competed against Washburn Rural, Hayden, Seaman, Emporia, Shawnee Heights, Junction City, Topeka High School, and Wellsville.

Sports in Kansas XC Runners to Watch: Shea Griffith, Baldwin, Sr.

A proven championship performer, Shea Griffith enters her senior season looking to add another memorable chapter to an already impressive career.

Griffith is a 3x All-State Cross Country and 3x All-State Track athlete who has consistently delivered on the biggest stages.
Freshman Year
• 5th place individually at State XC
• Team State Runner-Up
• State Champion 4x800
• 6th place 4x400

Sophomore Year
• 9th place individually at State XC
• Team finished 3rd at State
• State Champion 4x800
• 5th place 400m
• 7th place 4x400

Junior Year
• 7th place individually at State XC
• Team finished 3rd at State
• State Champion 4x800
• State Champion 4x400
• State Runner-Up 800m

With multiple state medals, championships, and college opportunities ahead, Griffith is ready to lead Baldwin into another season of high expectations.

On the upcoming season Griffith said:
“I’m so excited to compete alongside all of my friends this year and enjoy every workout together. As a team, our goal is to finish in the top two, and personally, I’m aiming to place in the top five.”
