The Gator Cafe is one of the best kept secrets in the area. They have specials every day until 4pm. They make a really good sandwich called the Gator Club that is packed this with sliced meats, cheeses, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The traditional patty melt is a close second and the French fries are honestly probably the best in the area. It's not all sandwiches though, the hamburger steak and country fried steak are my favorite plated meals. They specialize in down home southern cooking and they do a good job at it. They also make traditional style milkshakes that are more than worth a try!
