☀️ Strap on your helmets, it's almost time for the next Community Ride! Join us next Thursday, July 16, for a super special morning edition of Community Ride. Riders will meet at City Hall at 9am and we will ride at a leisurely pace to the Bainbridge Play Cafe. Bring your little ones along for the ride! This is an all ages, all abilities, all bikes event.

Community Rides is a summer bike ride series in partnership with the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce that invites Bainbridge Islanders to make connections with neighbors while going for a leisurely ride to a local business.

Join Maegan Blackwell as she reads her book, Before and After Baby. Children 6 and under are welcome to join and play in the play space while Maegan reads and leads a discussion afterward.

“Before Baby, five-year-old Andy feels loved and safe with her kind and gentle Mommy. After Baby, Andy's world is turned upside down because Mommy has postpartum depression. Before Baby, Andy knew what to expect. After Baby, will everything be ok?” A hopeful story of postpartum depression through a child’s eyes.

We had our first birthday party at the cafe yesterday! 🥳 It was so much fun watching the kids play and the parents socialize in our space. The birthday kiddo gets to choose a drink of their choice with our barista add-on, so Dylainey made Strawberry Italian Sodas with whipped cream and sprinkles for all the kids. 🍓🌈 Happy Birthday, Ayla!
