Pumpkin pie season is officially here! 🥧🍂

Made right here at the Pub with locally grown pumpkins from Suyematsu Farms on Bainbridge Island!

From our island’s farms to your fork. That’s fall at the Pub. 🎃🧡

On August 5th, 2026 at the age of 92 we lost one of the two incredible people behind the Harbour Public Houses opening in 1991.

Roger “Jim” Evans — known to his family as Poppy, a name given by a grandchild — was brilliant, kind, endlessly curious, and always up for an adventure (or a good book). He taught civil engineering at UW, helped build the Tacoma Dome, sailed across the Atlantic, and at 69 learned to paraglide.

Fair winds, Poppy. ❤️

You can read his full obituary through the link in our bio on Instagram, or in the comments on Facebook.

Our Official Fry Quality Control Personnel (super picky, opinionated, age 4) has signed off on the Pub fries yet again. 🍟

Her sauce position also remains firm: team ketchup. Forever.
An unreasonable amount of ketchup, preferably.

What team are you on? Ketchup or no Ketchup?

Choose wisely. We are judging. Lovingly, of course. 🥰

🏆 BEST OF BAINBRIDGE BARTENDER: OUR TAYLOR. 🌶️

Honestly… not surprised ( we know what a baddie she is 😏 ) but absolutely over the moon excited.

She’s spicy. She’s hilarious. She’s always looking cute, and she is always ready to be ( lovingly ) sassy.

Taylor remembers everybody — your name, your drink, probably something mildly embarrassing you told her six months ago — and once you’ve met her, you definitely remember her too.

She’s been part of our Pub family for a long time, and we could not be more proud to see her named Best of Bainbridge Bartender. Very, very deserved.

Cheers to our Hot Jalapeño Lady 🌶️❤️
We love you, Taylor. Keep ’em laughing, keep ’em humble, and apparently… keep winning awards. 🍻

Another Locally Raised feature — because apparently we can’t just drink the wh***ey, we have to be nosey about where it came from too. 😉

For 17 years, Bainbridge Organic Distillers has been doing things the hard way… Which, inconveniently, also seems to be the way to make a really damn good spirit.

Organic grain. Traditional methods. Better ingredients. Smaller yields. More time, more expense ( even the little things like citric acid are important here ) and absolutely no interest in cutting corners.

Keith is wildly knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and refreshingly open about the trials that come with producing small batches of some of the very best organic spirits around. His goal? Bring back the fuller, richer, deeper flavor of the great old wh***eys — the kind people now pay a small fortune to get their hands on ( try anywhere between $3,000 - $10,000! ).

We have history with them, too. Pub Legend Jeff Waite was there for the original Battle Point taste trial, and the Harbour Public House became the very first account to carry Bainbridge Organic Distillers. We do love being first ( especially when good wh***ey is involved ). 🥃

The full interview and write-up will be coming soon - but in the meantime, come grab a seat at the Pub and try a pour of the Bainbridge Organic Distillers spirits we’re proud to carry.

P.S. Wait till you hear about their labels & the tree on it.. So cool!

Fish & chips, the way a proper Pub should do ’em. 🐟🍟

Crispy, golden, and best enjoyed with a good drink and a little waterfront people-watching. 👀 Cheers!

Yes, we’re a pub. No, that does not mean you should skip dessert. 😉

Come for dinner. Stay because somebody at the table ordered bread pudding and now everyone’s involved.

Some places are just a pin on the map.
Some feel a little more like home. ⚓️

Good food, local pours, cozy vibes, familiar faces, and the kind of view that makes you want stay longer than you meant to. Cheers! 🍻

Introducing LOCALLY RAISED 🌱
Our new Monday feature highlighting Washington makers, growers, ranchers & more. ( Double meaning - did you know all the current Pub owners were raised on Bi? )

Full stories are coming soon, but for now — meet NoWhere Foods!

Their whole idea? There’s no such thing as “nowhere” if you’re paying attention - and Zane and Duke, the brothers behind it all, certainly pay attention. Every place has its own plants, flavors, agriculture, and story. They think ( and we agree ) its time to get back to appreciating whats naturally in these environments.

Each of their drinks is made with just three ingredients, inspired by a sense of place… So naturally, I asked what the Pub would be as a NoWhere drink. Zane’s answer: Blackcap raspberry, native to our area. Rose, the Pub is surrounded by them. Wildflower honey, a golden taste of whats “ buzzing “ in the nearby area. Honestly, Im dying to try that. Spot on Pub flavor.

While we hope that flavor comes to be ( wink wink, nudge nudge 😉 ) We currently carry three NoWhere drinks, and every one is incredible — but the Cherry is my personal favorite. Tart, clean, and 0% ABV. 🍒

More info, photos and a full story on this incredible brother duo coming soon! Until then- pick a NoWhere flavor, try it out, and get curious about what grows natively near you.

Tomorrow, Jocelyn will be participating in Swim Across America in memory of Jeff Waite, raising funds for cancer research at Fred Hutch Cancer Center.

Jeff, a deeply loved part of the Harbour family, passed away last year from pancreatic cancer at just 63 years old. Far too soon.

This swim is in his honor, and in hope that continued research can lead to earlier detection, better treatments, and fewer families losing someone they love too soon.

If you’re able, please consider supporting this cause in Jeff’s memory. Every contribution helps & today is the day to do it - tomorrow is the big day! Check the QR code, our Instagram Bio, or the comments on Facebook for a link to donate directly.
