🎉 Mark Your Calendars! 🎉

Since last year’s event went so well—and we raised more money in one night than ever before for the Harpswell Heating Assistance Program—I figured it was time to get a head start on this year’s party!

With all the fun we’ve had this summer still fresh in my mind—from Motor B***y Affair & Fireworks to Claws N’ Country, and all the time spent with friends and family here at the restaurant—it seems like the perfect time to keep the party going!

With that in mind, Cook’s Lobster & Ale House will be hosting the 17th Annual Harpswell Heating Assistance Program Benefit Dinner & Silent Auction!

It’s an incredible night for an incredible cause, and we can’t wait to do it all over again. Great food, great people, lots of fun—and most importantly, helping our neighbors stay warm this winter. ❤️🔥

I’m so proud of all the things we have accomplished in our 11 years of ownership here at Cook’s, and there have been many!
This morning, at 7:00am, may have been one of the most proud moments I have had as owner of this great restaurant.
Morgan, a very special member of our Cook’s family lost both her mother and aunt to cancer. The family started a 5k many years ago to honor and raise money for cancer support, awareness etc.
Morgan put up a sign up at the restaurant for those that want to participate and support the cause and her family…. And this was the response this morning at 7:00am. There were others that joined that didn’t make the photo and many that wanted to be there but couldn’t for various reasons (someone had to open the restaurant I suppose)! The outpouring of love and support for Morgan and her family really moved me. I know we are a close bunch but this struck me differently.
For all the long hard days, frustrations and the daily stresses of owning this place, the one thing we try the hardest at is making everyone feel special. That goes for every stranger that walks in the door to our regulars and mostly our staff. Our hope is that we have created a place where our staff feels appreciated, loved and cared for … we are the Cook’s Family !
The faces in this picture and the many that couldn’t be here today, make those hard days worth it.
I was so proud of you all for showing up today when your friend needed some extra love and support. You didn’t have to… but you did!
I feel like a proud momma, you are all so special to us and so grateful to have you all as a part of this Cook’s family ♥️!
