The Crooked Bass Grill & Tavern is again hosting our “Trick Or Treat Street” on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant on Halloween night (October 31) from 6-8 pm and we are looking for businesses and individuals who are willing to set up a table and pass out candy or treats to the children.

If you have a business, it’s a great way to give back to the community while also meeting potential customers. Even if you don’t own a business, it’s a great way to give back to the children in our community. 👧🏻👦

If you are blessed to have a church home, then you know the important role that a Pastor plays in your life and the lives of so many others.

Today (and everyday!) we should show our appreciation — but especially on today, because it’s “National Pastor Appreciation Day”.

It’s also a great day to take your Pastor out to lunch or dinner and we would be honored to serve you here at 1010 N. Scenic Hwy. in Babson Park (and to give you 10% off of your Pastor’s meal) to show our appreciation for their service. Just share this post and then show it to your server so they will know.

Of course, you could always use it just to give your someone special a compliment because, while it’s still cheesy, it might just accomplish its goal. 🤔❤️‍🔥

Today is not only 10/10, but it’s also Saturday, which means that the Tiki opens at 11:30 am for some college football.

Of course, you can always enjoy a nice cold beverage and something delicious of our full menu of seafood, steaks, burger, wings, pizza, pasta, veggies and more.

Today happens to be “National Salmon Day”, but ANY day is a great day to enjoy salmon at The Crooked Bass Grill & Tavern — especially when you pair it with our “Kickin’ Cranberry” sauce.

Many people, if asked, would say that today is “Hump Day”, but it is also "Random Acts of Kindness Day" (which we like better — hence the Aesop quote that we shared).

On this day, we are all tasked to do something nice and unexpected for someone else (which we really think should happen EVERY day). It can be something small as long as it’s done with love ♥️ (because it will likely feel big to the recipient!)

So, we hope you will take a moment and do something kind for someone. If that act of kindness involves some fellowship and food, might we suggest lunch or dinner at The Crooked Bass Grill & Tavern today? We open at 11:30 am and our specials of AYCE Shrimp and AYCE Bone-In Wings are available all day. What does a hat, Alice and 10/6 have to do with today? If you don’t know, don’t go bonkers or be “mad” (that’s a clue!) … we’ll gladly tell you.

Today, 10/6, is also known as “Mad Hatter Day”, named after the Alice in Wonderland character who wore a hat with 10/6 on it. While 10/6 to us likely means October 6, in the story it meant ten shillings and six pence — or the cost of a hat at that time.

Now that we know that, have you been “wondering” about where to go for a delicious lunch or dinner? Well, wonder no more! Head on in to The Crooked Bass Grill & Tavern at 1010 N. Scenic Hwy. in Babson Park for delicious seafood, steaks (including prime rib), burgers, pizza, pastas, wings and more!

Do everything with a good heart ❤️ and expect nothing in return and you will never be disappointed.

Times are tough for many these days and there is no shortage of opportunities to help someone in need.

Today happens to be “National Do Something Nice Day” and we can’t think of a better way to do something nice than to help someone who is less fortunate than you are.

It does not necessarily require money … it can involve doing a helpful deed for someone who needs a helping hand such as giving your place in line to the person with only three items or listening to someone who is lonely or maybe giving a compliment to a tired worker at a local store (or restaurant! 😉).

If you are blessed financially and would like to help those who might be experiencing hard times, please consider donating food to the Students in Transition program at LWHS (ask us how in the comments), buying some groceries for a family whom you know who might be struggling, or blessing a server with a little extra cash tip.

Speaking of doing something nice, why not invite someone to join you for lunch or dinner today at The Crooked Bass Grill & Tavern? You would be doing something nice for them, us and your server (all while, enjoying a delicious meal and great conversation, which would also be nice for you)❤️

No, we haven’t taken up CB Radio as a hobby, but today is October 4, which is also known as Ten Four Day.

It’s Sunday, which means the Tiki will be also open for some cold drinks, hot food and football!

It's “National Boyfriend Day”, so whether you are still dating your fella or even if he already put a ring 💍 on it, today is the day to celebrate your boyfriend!

What better way than to come to The Crooked Bass Grill & Tavern at 1010 N. Scenic Hwy. in Babson Park for lunch or dinner and maybe enjoy a delicious meal and maybe a few adult beverages🍺🍹🍸 (and it’s Happy Hour all day until 6 pm!)?

Both inside dining and the tiki open at 11:30 am today with the college games on the TVs and Jô Estrada playing from 6-9 pm.

The shrimp, scallops, pizza, burgers or wings are always a good choice and our fish selections are always a good catch 🎣 (just like your fella!😉).
