Hello!! As you may know we have had this dog “Monster” (he’s no monster!) show up at the shop a few times the last couple months skinny, hungry and thirsty. We got him fed and were able to get him home to his owners the same night via a Facebook post.
Well, he showed up again on Friday and we went through our routine but given that he was still not looking so great we decided to reach out to the animal shelter in the hopes he would some vet attention before he would go home. But they were closed and it was late and cold so he went home with us that night. Saturday morning his owners came by the shop asking if we had seen him and we said he was at the house and we would bring him over, then she asks me if we would want him or know anyone who would. Instinctively I said yes (we cannot have dogs or cats due to severe allergy). He was surrendered to us there and he has spent the last several days with us getting all the love, attention, walks and no stress.
I made a post on my personal page and we had several great people reach out interested in him and we wanted to let you know that today he went to his forever home!! These owners are great folks, out in the country on the river so he’s got a great spot!!
He was nothing but a pleasure to have the last several days, and we will miss him but can’t be too sad given the outcome!! He didn’t tear anything up, eat anything was just so fun. We call him Lobster. We sure did get attached though and took lots of pictures, here’s a few!! ❤️🥺😭
