I don't have the words to say how overwhelmed we were with all of the support for our last weekend. We have never sold out of food by 11 am, 30 minutes after we start serving lunch. We truly will miss Y'all!
We could have never made it thru the last couple of years without the help of some very special people.
Lorena, you have been Daddys right hand. You didnt just come in to work, you brought kindness, love and patience. Thank you for the person that you are. You have become part of our family and you will forever be in our hearts. Not many could work with Peter Haddock and come out smiling on the other side.
Grayson, you've been a fixture at Haddocks for more than 8 years, thru many changes. Ive watched you grow up into the beautiful woman you are today. The others might call you 'drill seargent', but you kept the crazy together and managed to bring some order to the chaos. You know what it takes to be successful. I hope you always keep that attitude. Its served you well.
McKenna, you came in with an 'I can do anything' attitude and you hung in when things got tough. You are very talented and sweet. Always remember you deserve the best life has to offer and nothing less. I hope you stay a hippie at heart, and Ive always got my radio set on the 70's whenever you want to listen! Peace out.
Jasmin, you are our brain child. You always showed up with a great attitude and were happy to do whatever job was needed. I cant say in words how privileged i am to have watched you grow into the smart, confident young lady you are today! I expect free Drs visits when you finish school!
Anna, you missed a crazy last weekend, but you stuck with us. You learned a lot and I know you will accomplish all your dreams. It will always be Anna's Banana Pudding. Disfrutar de su vida al máximo.
Whitney, you've been our enegizer bunny...you attack work and never let the crazy get the best of you. I won't call you mini-Sheila, but she has given you some skills! Keep smiling even when things get tough. If I need a smile and some true kindness, i know where to come get it.
Norma, you are what we'd call our 'clean up batter'. Youd come in off the bench and make us a winning team all the time. You owe me many hours of sipping tequila in the pool this summer. Te amo hasta la luna y de regreso.
And finally, Steve, you kept our world together. Daddy could have never had a better friend, he will miss y'alls daily 'talks'. What many dont realize is you kept us cool, warm, and the equipment running. Im convinced theres not a mess we can make that you cant fix. You are a miracle worker! Just ask the hushpuppy machine. We love you. See you all summer st the Longbranch!
Thank y'all for sticking with us. We managed to get some fun done in the middle of all that work. I hope those are the memories yall hold on to. 'Until next time'!
