Kalila pulled this Lemon Olive Oil Cake out of thin air in a pinch yesterday morning in a pinch and I put the finishing touches on it. It sold out so fast! We put it in the pastry case again this morning and it looks like you guys are loving it.

We're looking for pastry chefs from our neighborhood to feature their home baked pastries in our case. Tag someone you know who lives in old town Avondale and loves to bake!

This is Western Ave. Every 👏🏾Single 👏🏾 Morning 👏🏾 No foot traffic. No passing crowds. Just a neighborhood that’s been looking east for years and years.

When Coldwater opened in 2021 Anthony and I took a stand. Old Town Avondale IS something special, we wanted to show it to the Valley. And you all responded, coming through and filling up our parking lot and streets, our tables and markets and making our little piece of the block an exciting addition to this place.

You, and our small crew, choose to be here. Choose to make the drive and we wanted to let you know. We see it. We feel it every single time you walk through the door. You’re grabbing coffee and saying this place and this food matters in this world.

The guys dancing in the windows? Meet them in the next reel. They’re a big reason why we’re still here.
