❤️ Our Stratford Pub family needs your help.

Many of you know Borha, our Kitchen Manager. He works hard behind the scenes every day helping make The Stratford Pub what it is. Right now, Borha is facing something no pet owner ever wants to hear.

His best friend, Bubba, has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer. Bubba isn’t just a dog—he’s been Borha’s loyal companion for nine years. From car rides and games of fetch to being by his side through life’s ups and downs, they’ve been inseparable since the day Borha adopted him from a shelter.

To give Bubba the best chance possible, he will need a leg amputation followed by chemotherapy treatments. The road ahead is difficult, but Borha is determined to do everything he can for the dog who has given him unconditional love for nearly a decade.

If you’re able to help, any donation—big or small—will make a difference. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing the fundraiser would mean the world.

This past Sunday, Avondale Breakfast Club had the privilege of participating in Side by Side’s Recovery Brunch alongside more than 30 talented chefs, bartenders, and culinary professionals from across our community.

The event raised critical funds to help stroke and brain injury survivors recover community, purpose, and hope, and we were honored to be part of such a meaningful cause.

Jess spent the morning serving up our famous Reuben Eggroll Bites. Maybe not the most traditional brunch food at the event, but they were definitely a crowd favorite! Each order is hand-rolled fresh and packed with flavor, making them one of our signature menu items.

If you haven’t tried them yet, Avondale Breakfast Club serves breakfast out of The Stratford Pub every Wednesday through Sunday starting at 9 AM, and the Reuben Eggroll Bites are always worth the trip.

A huge thank you to Side by Side for including us, and to everyone who attended, donated, and supported this incredible cause. We love being part of a community that comes together to make a difference.

Y’all give it up for our guy Andy 👏🔥

Born in New Orleans, raised right here in Georgia, Andy’s been putting in work in the Atlanta restaurant scene for over 30 years. From running the kitchen at Local 7 in Tucker to helping open and lead The Stratford back in 2018, this man’s done it all — behind the bar, in the kitchen, and everywhere in between.

He’s seen Avondale grow from a quiet little village into the buzzing spot it is today, and he’s been a big part of that story.

Andy wears a whole lotta hats around here… but the best one? Being a dad. And man, his son’s got one heck of a role model to look up to.

We’re beyond thankful for your hard work, dedication, and steady leadership, Andy. You’re the real deal.

We love you, brother ❤️
