I’ve been quiet, but my kitchen hasn’t. This weekend I was making lots of real goodness & real vegetable broth! It’s so simple and it’s almost free. I mean, you did pay for those fresh vegetables, but the scraps and the ones you thought weren’t looking like they were going to last until you could use them, can be thrown into a and placed in the freezer until it’s full. Then, all you have to do is place them in a pot, cover with water, simmer for 30 min or so, strain and you’ve got yourself real veggie broth!! Have you ever made your own Vegetable Broth?

💗 October is designated to Breast Cancer Awareness. This is when we see all kinds of “pink washing” - as a sign of support and efforts to raise funding for research. I wont go into the deception and politics of cancer research and some of the fundraising charities … but I will point out that so many of these brands stepping out and joining the “pink movement” are not actually supporting healing - since so many of their products have carcinogens - cancer causing ingredients !

🙌 This October, let’s stand with brands that truly support the fight against breast cancer by NOT having carcinogens in their products, instead of those who .

🎀 Don’t be fooled by pink ribbons slapped on products just to boost sales, while still selling the very chemicals that contribute to cancer.

⚠️ ☠️ Avoid toxins known to cause breast cancer in ultra processed foods and beauty products such as:
-Parabens
-Fragrance
-Phthalates
-BHT
-BHA
-Toluene
-Triclosan
-Artificial dyes

🔆💗 🔆 Stick to:
-Organic foods
-Personal care products with natural ingredients you can actually pronounce
-Non-toxic cleaning products and cookware
-Clean and healthy everything as much as possible!
