What a first week! I appreciate the overwhelming support that everybody has shown us. Unfortunately, we did have a few hiccups and we are trying to work those out . I appreciate everybody's patience and kind words . If you happen to have ordered on Friday or came in for the buffet and your Pizza was not up to your standards. Please notify me. I would like to make that right .

I would like to introduce myself. As of June 1st I am the new owner of The pizza place. My Sister and brother-in-law previously owned it. I would like to thank them for all their years of dedication and hard work. I am very excited to announce we will have new hours.
We are opened at 10:30 AM Monday through Friday and we close at 9 PM Monday through Thursday . Friday and Saturday nights we will be closing at 10 PM . And Sunday we will be open from 2 to 9 PM . The dining room will be opened during this time. We will have also delivery during those times.

**UPDATE: The Silver Alert issued for Mirta Budd has been cancelled as of Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Ms. Budd was found safe in Michigan.**

The Avilla Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Mirta Budd, a 72-year-old white female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 140 pounds, blonde hair with blue eyes, wearing unknown clothing.

Mirta is missing from Avilla, Indiana which is 140 miles northeast of Indianapolis and was last seen on May 10, 2026 at 9:40 pm. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
