Hi everyone. I have seen so many comments and received so many messages about opening. It was a great run and I am sad to say Fins is a thing of the past. I know the lake is up, but after paying partial rent for 4 years while being closed, along with insurance and taxes etc...we made a deal to get out of our lease last year with the marina. The losses for 4 years on top of knowing it would cost at least $150,000 to get the building back to any shape to be able to open after opening for just one year last time before the second drought hit was just too much. I've heard rumors the building sold and will be moved somewhere else on the lake. I have no idea because I have no contact with the marina who owns or owned the building. Thanks for all the great years and I know someone will make a run of a new place. I could tag a bunch of people to thank, but those who know me know I have a love for the lake, our friendships that are not as strong because I'm not out there, our bands that have all of us so many great times, the numerous servers, cooks and employees that drove vans for holidays, carts and so much more. I thank you for all the hard work in tough conditions sometimes. The managers, at least the ones that matter, know who you are and were. Thanks for so many great memories.
