Camp Chef Kids started in 2006 at the OPEN DOOR PRESCHOOL as a summer camp for the employees school aged children. In 2016 I decided to operate the camp in my home and fulfill my dream.
I am a 2006 graduate of the ACC Culinary Arts Program and hold a Bachelors of Education from Huston Tillotson University. Currently, I am the Parent Support Specialist at Pillow Elementary.
The camp runs for 8 weeks with various themes and serves children age 7-12. One camp will be solely for middle school and high school students ages 13-17 (July 31-August 4).
Camp hours are 8:30am-12:30pm M-F/$425 per week with payment due in full the Friday before each camp start date.

Good Afternoon! First- thank YOU to all of the parents that have reached out regarding information about 2021 camps. Word of mouth is a wonderful marketing tool!
Second- is the update about camps!
Unfortunately, the kitchen renovation/ addition will not be completed in time for any camps this summer. Camp Chef Kids will be fully operational for summer 2022 and I may be hosting the Holiday Cookie Camp in December 2021 for ages 8-10.
Again, thank you so much for considering CAMP CHEF KIDS for your child. These last 18 months have us all ready to venture out and experience new things.
