Y’all! The saga of our wonderfully wicked woodland wonder of whimsical artistry & OG craftsmanship in six frames from the last 48 hours…(all the feels)

Super stoked to get this HUGE oil painting for Better Days. Masterfully painted by Leroy Updike (🙏 1876-1959. Washington State). The story given to us by the seller was that there were three versions of this & each sibling’s family inherited one. We feel super lucky to now have it & was so smitten by its uniqueness, we had to share with you all. (also, uh, it is 84” x 60”. 🙌. ) The seller was very glad for it to be finally public facing 💞

So, the day we hot it, was super giddy to hang it & share. Admire it. And call it a night. Then, it dramatically slid down the wall & fell over 😱😭. Luckily, no one was hurt AND the painting was okay!!!🎉

So thanks to Trey & some besties, they helped save the day with BETTER enforcements for a rehang.

From the initial sight of it, couldnt help but think of our all-time fave Twin Peaks! And the late great David Lynch. It just makes me smile so much. What about you?
