Attention Gonzo Fans!!! The proud owners of Gonzo have opened a brick and mortar, full service restaurant in Lockhart, Texas! Please check out Market Street Cafe & Apothecary. We have a revamped menu, beer and wine list, tea menu, herbal apothecary and beautiful staff! We hope to see our fans soon!

Monique Anne and I have decided to open our own Cafe and Apothecary in Lockhart Texas. We have missed Gonzo and all of our fans, and have rented a space in Lockhart to revive the dream and blossom into even more with lots of medicines and herbal influence by Monique. The new place will be called
Market Street Cafe & Apothecary
It is located across from the old Caldwell County Courthouse at 102 East Market Street on Lockhart town square. The menu will be in the same vain as Gonzo, Classic American to current American fare, with our own flair of course. We will open this fall, with an exact date yet to come. We want to thank ahead of time everyone that will make this happen. We also want to give a big shout out to Richard Platt and Miranda Nunez-Platt of Loop and Lil's Pizza in Lockhart for inviting us down to be part of the food revolution that is happening in Lockhart. Lockhart has been famous for its BBQ for a long time. Now is the time to open up the culinary options in this smaller town south of Austin. Keep us in your thoughts and make sure to come visit us when we are open. In the meantime follow us as we install a restaurant from the beginning in a space that has not had one before. This is going to be a wild ride. P.S. The location was the original bank of Lockhart in the 1800s (with the original vault) and Mo is working on decorating the hallway with the outlaws of the turn of the century and the female outlaws of the Wild West 💥

It is official, Gonzo is closed for business. As a Phoenix, Gonzo will someday rise again. The tide of deliciousness has only subsided for the time being. We will continue to keep our fans in the loop, and will try our best to entertain you with all things Gonzo in the meantime. We love our fans and will dine again, I promise you. We at Gonzo have decided to pull our rooster out of the lot on East 6th and Waller folks. Gonzo still lives on! We are offering catering and will be maintaining our festival status so please stay tuned!
