Hello, ice cream lovers - it's been about six weeks since we shut our doors to our scoop shop and went on a hiatus due to the pandemic and the resulting supply chain issues, price increases, and low sales due to Delta and Omicron variants.
I do have some news to share with you. As of this week, we are in a soft-opening transitionary period where we are able to open our doors for 3 -9 pm, Wednesday through Sunday. We hope to expand these hours as soon as we are able(*).
We are offering 15 flavors of scoops, 10 flavors of pints, 3 kinds of cakes, ice cream sandwiches, t-shirts, and patches in the shop. Supply chain issues mean that we aren't able to offer shakes quite yet, but we have plans to bring them back. We are also card-only for the time being. Your loyalty points and gift cards have been ported over to our new system, so you may redeem those as well.
I just want to close here and give a big thank you to everyone who has left a kind comment, sent a text, or reached out to buy a pint from our kitchen while we've been closed. You all have made me cry the biggest tears of joy with your support and your sweet stories about your adventures in our scoop shop. Ice cream truly is the best job in the world.
