Ok backboners, remember all those cries for tamales ? Bring tamales you said! Welp I listened and we are bringing Tamales de Flor tomorrow from noon until 4pm. But if you don’t support them, and either preorder some today for the holidays for pickup tomorrow or come out tomorrow for our festivities and eat them hot, then shame shame !

Let’s show this fine couple from the who makes homemade kicka$$ tamales, that we dig what they do!

Order by 3pm today for pick up tomorrow in the dancehall at noon. Pay by QR code, order by text or stop by the tavern and drop cash today !

We have The Georges followed by a book signing by Henry Horenstein who has his latest collection of iconic photography called “Miles and Miles of Texas” !

Good food, good music, and good company… what more can we ask for? Looks like a beautiful weekend ahead to take a drive out to Devil’s Backbone Tavern 🌤️🎶🚘 We’ll see you there!

We have a treat coming up this SATURDAY Dec 6 at the Backbone ! Tamales de Flor will be setting up starting at noon and serving hot tamales ! We will will be taking tamale preorders all week long for pick up this Saturday for Christmas! Stop by the Backbone any day this week to pre-order and pay. There will be an old skool sign up sheet. Melaine will have the menu printed out. It’s also attached here. These tamales are traditional Rio Grande Valley style with recipe handed down from generations. Pre-Order dozens for your family or show up and eat them hot with some cold beer during the The Georges !
