NEXT SUNDAY (May 24) we're mixing things up with our friends from Oseyo! Neighbors celebrating neighbors 💕 Join us for one-morning-only for a very special Brunch!
With a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Cornell University, Lynn began her food career in New York City, where she helped open the New York Palace Hotel’s first Mediterranean restaurant, Istana. During this time, she was exposed to the creative energy of New York restaurateurs and chefs who sparked her dream of opening her own restaurant concept in the future. While in New York, Lynn also had the privilege of working with one of New York’s most influential chefs in the local food movement, Chef Peter Hoffman, where she served as General Manager of Savoy Restaurant, overseeing the dining room and organizing special event dinners that hosted influential chefs, food activists, and writers (including Michael Pollan and Gary Nabhan). In her late twenties, Lynn moved back to her home-town in Dallas to re-structure, renovate, and manage a 20-acre special event facility that hosted both private and large-scale public events.
Upon having her first child, Lynn and her husband moved to Austin to raise their children. Here, Lynn graduated from The Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts where she advanced her learning in food as a healing art and gained experience in cooking for special dietary needs, including Vegan, Gluten-free, Macrobiotic and Ayurvedic cooking. During this time, Lynn consulted on the opening of a fast-casual Asian-inspired, health-focused restaurant in Santa Monica, CA, called Kye’s.
In 2019, Lynn realized her dream and opened Oseyo, a Korean-American restaurant that serves traditional and modern Korean dishes, where she continues to manage and spearhead new concepts and projects for Oseyo.
