I had the pleasure of cooking a private in-home dinner party last night, and it was a great evening from start to finish.
We began with a tomato bisque paired with honey goat cheese grilled cheese — simple, comforting, and a favorite at the table.
For the main course, I prepared butter-basted New York strip steak with roasted parmesan asparagus, served over garlic-roasted and smashed fingerling potatoes.
Dessert didn’t make it into the photos, but we wrapped up the evening with a tableside bananas foster that brought everyone back to the kitchen to watch.
It’s always an honor to cook for people in their homes and make the night feel special.
