To our beautiful Maha Coffee Family,
The only certainty we have is that things change. Mark & I are embracing change as a pathway to growth and inspiration for the blessings on the other side of the letting go.
We write this with deep gratitude for all who have shared a cup and conversation, a GF bake and a moment in time to pause with us over the years. The deepest of bows to our steadfast Maha Mavens, who are sisters to us, the wonderful local coffee roasters that provided our beans, & all the people and offerings that have made Maha a place to gather and pause in a city that is ever shifting.
We have been gracefully navigating a a lease renewal process while practicing patience with the unknown. Recently we were notified there would be no path forward for us to remain. I know we are not alone in this experience and that has been a tender place to land, in good company with so many other small businesses being eaten up by the economics of our times.
The hard truth is we aren’t special or alone - we all have witnessed at a heighten pace the “third spaces” of our neighborhoods getting lost in the urgency of growth and profits.
Our final day to share a cup and connection in shop will be Sunday December 22, 2024.
In the interim let’s sip and share time together and savor these last days.
We 💚 You!
Erinn & Mark and the Maha Mavens
(If you are aware of any empty 2nd gen coffee shops that you think we could transition to please DM us 😌 looking for a small shop under 1000 sq ft)
had to add a little cheekiness to the heart ache - the song feels fitting 😉
