-The End-
It's a hard conversation to start when we're trying to talk about the end. We wanna inform everybody involved in this stage of our project that our time at is coming to an end next month at the verge of our year anniversary, and we have nothing but gratitude for such an amazing opportunity and journey, half of the time we were here, we were just pinching ourselves as a reminder that everything happening was real, we went through laughter, tears, surreal experiences and everything in-between, and by the end of it we found something that we can now call family.
We are used to changes, we embrace them and enjoy the opportunity to evolve through it. Change is a constant for us, but in the last year, year and a half, this project we created and nourished through this massive trauma called pandemic became the constant of our recent life, and gave us the stability and privilege we never had access before; a stage that started with $300 bucks in our pocket but grew to have a team and sell over 8000 arepas during a weird as year (we still don't believe it) so for everyone who thinks "I Can't" we wanna tell you "Of course you can!". But like a good tree who feeds through the sun to grow and share their blessings with it's surroundings, it also finds it's way to an ending stage understanding that it's purpose is to set the base for what's gonna happen next
We're grateful for you, you, y'all, you, all of you, them, they, you again, not you! You suck big time, and definitely you because without you it wouldn't been possible to make it this far
Thank you to everyone involved, for every opportunity, leap of faith, crazy decision, the community we built, the family we found, the inspiration, the drive, the Karens too, the humbling experiences and every surreal lesson thought and learned
GRACIAS for helping us start this conversation about Arepas and Venezuelan Food in Austin, GRACIAS for letting us share a piece of us, GRACIAS for being there
Most of our decisions were made for y'all during this process but this time we're making this one for ourselves, for our mental and physical stability
