It is with an extremely heavy heart that we are announcing the end of operations for Wines and Whatnots in roughly 2 weeks. Our last day of business is set for Friday, October 28. This was a very difficult, personal decision to make and it is based on a priority for our family. It pains us to close operations, but at the end of the day, we rarely have any personal time outside of the business. Anyone who knows us understands that our priority is our family, especially our little dude Joel! It will be "business as usual" up until our last day.
We made the decision to open our shop for the community due to the obvious lack of food and beverage options in this area, and the community did not disappoint in supporting us! This is our first venture into business ownership and we learned very quickly just how demanding a food and beverage business is of our time. We cannot express enough how thankful we are to each and every person who came through our door and supported us, not only financially, but with many verbal compliments. It truly, truly means so much to us. We are staying in the community and look forward to continuing the friendships we have developed over the last year and a half. Keep an eye out for more posts regarding items for sale, announcements, etc. over the next 2 weeks.
We were blessed with an absolutely outstanding and dedicated staff and we could not have done this without each and every one of them. Jennifer Patterson, Roxy Lucio, Edna Quintana, Avery Ward, Daniel Capetillo (our first employee and still with us!), John Patterson, Stephanie Seymour, Seraphim Seymour, Jon Gocheekit, Becky Morgeson and Tiffany Sutliff will be missed!
