Here’s what we should’ve caught. 👇

The brand you see in this video isn’t who this is about. It was a third-party who ordered on their behalf and used that brand name to their benefit.

🚩 The second pricing came up, they wanted to jump on a call instead of an email.
🚩 They dropped the clients name and asked for a discount stating the brand had a budget. They offered tags and mentions on social media in exchange for the discount. All agreed to verbally nothing in writing. But they were so friendly they communicated all the time. Nothing that made you think anything would happen otherwise.
🚩 After the event? Radio silence. No tags, no mentions, not even the photos they promised to send. (the ones shown here were pulled from other sources.)

Oh- and months later we got a 1099 as a contractor on an order that was already invoiced and paid by them We spent hours untangling that one. 🤯

We had every deadline they didn’t hold up a single promise

Now nothing moves without it being in writing. Pricing, terms, deliverables….all of it.

Excited energy got them in the door. It doesn’t get anyone a discount anymore. 🫠
