We’re excited to host a classic parking lot party with Chris Barnes of Jose Pastor Selections next Tuesday, September 20th at Bufalina on Cesar Chavez.

No tickets are required and we’ll be sharing w**e by the glass and bottles, food specials, and more from 6 to 8.

Our friend Darren Griffin from Good Grapes will be there hanging out and offering a special discount to first-time w**e club members.

October’s Org of the Month is Keep Austin Fed!

Since 2014, they have helped distribute more than 10 million pounds of food to neighbors experiencing food insecurity. In addition to addressing hunger, they also work to reduce food waste by providing meals through food surplus that would otherwise go to waste.

$1 from every glass of house w**e sold at both locations during Happy Hour this month will be donated to this incredible org.

We’ll be pouring special glasses and bottles from Charles Frey and Thiébaud will be answering questions, mingling, and giving context to these beautiful w**es. Meet Sam (he/him)! When he’s not busy making some of the best pasta dishes in town, you can find him zipping around on his motorcycle (probably in a very cool Hawaiian shirt). Get to know him a little more:

What is your role? I’m part of the kitchen staff!

What’s your favorite cause around town? I think the ATX Free Fridge Project (ATX Free Fridge Project) does a great job helping those in need find a meal, we’ve also done some work here at the restaurant for them over the holiday season which I think is very cool.

Current favorite dish at Buf? Any of the pastas, I also enjoy making them (we can confirm he is very good at making them).

What’s your dream meal? Lox & bagels.

Any fun facts to share? My head is full of useless trivia.

We heard it’s International Grenache Day and the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

It’s crush season in the Northern Hemisphere, and this month our W**e Club is crushing on… Grenache! The Grenache grape comes in three colors: blanc, gris, and noir. One of the world’s most widely planted grape varieties, Grenache has a unique ability to adapt to its surroundings, producing w**es that range from ethereal to punchy, fragrant to brooding, and playful to complex.
