I am beyond excited to have been chosen as one of the top 18 for the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship National CEO Pitch Competition out of hundreds of entries across the country. This experience has been unlike anything else.

I was nominated by Butter.together.popcorn to complete the challenge!

Hello, my name is Nathan Schmidt, and I am a senior at Pacelli Catholic Schools. My favorite food is anything my grandma cooks and I love the color yellow.

I started What's The Scoop? with the goal of making the world's favorite dessert more accessible. It's not often you find ice cream that can meet dietary restrictions while also having a fun flavor. Everyone deserves a sweet treat, and everyone should be able to experience all the fun of ice cream without trips to the bathroom.

Over the course of the CEO program, I bounced between a lot of business ideas before ultimately settling when my sister (pictured with) told me she wished she could make her own flavors of ice cream.

Also, make sure to come out to the Mower County CEO class trade show on May 17th from 4:00 - 7:00 at the Packer Arena. There are some amazing and unique businesses this year and you won't want to miss it. There may also be some exclusive surprises from What's The Scoop? there as well.
