THIS is what your Pay It Forward donations do.

Yesterday, Dottie’s had the privilege of being part of a pretty special birthday celebration for a 10-year-old named Jesse.

Earlier this summer, the amazing folks from 207 Street Bike Life organized an anti-bullying ride for Jesse. Yesterday, they surprised him again for his birthday and Dottie’s got to bring the ice cream!
A HUGE thank you to Aimee from 207 Street Bike Life for inviting us to be part of it.

Thanks to our Pay It Forward Fund, approximately 50 people who came out to celebrate Jesse were treated to ice cream at no cost. Every single treat was paid for with donations that YOU have made to the fund throughout the season.

This is exactly why the Pay It Forward Fund exists. Your extra dollar here, your donated treat there…it adds up. And sometimes it turns into an ice cream truck pulling up to help make a kid feel pretty darn special on his birthday.

So to everyone who has ever contributed to Dottie’s Pay It Forward Fund, THANK YOU. This one was yours.
