Greg “Gig” Ladd is a pitmaster, veteran, and community builder with a passion for smoke and service. As the owner of Gig’s BBQ, he’s turned a love of barbecue into an award-winning brand known for its bold flavors, signature Sweet & Sassy Sauce, and Bella’s Dry Rub. At the heart of it all

is Hogzilla, his custom-designed smoker that helps deliver the slow-smoked perfection that keeps folks lining up on Bloomery Pike. But Gig’s fire doesn’t burn only in the pit. He also serves as Senior Director of ITS Field Services for a major global company, where he applies the same principles of leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving that drive his success in barbecue. Whether guiding a worldwide IT operation or pulling ribs off the smoker, Greg is focused on one thing—taking care of people. For him, it’s simple: work hard, keep the smoke rolling, and make sure everyone leaves full and happy.

You all absolutely cleaned us out — we are officially SOLD OUT of both St. Louis Ribs AND Baby Back Ribs! 🐷💨

BUT WE’RE STILL OPEN with all your other favorites — sliced brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, buffalo chicken, smoked mac & cheese, baked beans, coleslaw and more!

And don’t worry… Hogzilla is going back to work! We’re making MORE ribs for tomorrow’s menu, so if you missed out today, you’ve got another shot Sunday.
