Join us Monday February 9th for our third annual “purple ice cream day” fundraiser for SCN8A awareness day and foundation. We will be dying our vanilla ice purple, and will have the rest of our menu as well. The past 2 years have been a huge success and we hope this year will be, too! We will be open 10 am-7/7:30 pm to accommodate any who need to come later in the day. Please come out and help support and our beautiful daughter, Mia 💜 We can’t wait to see you!

February 9 is international SCN8A awareness day!
In honor of that we will be having purple ice cream February 8 and 9 at The Shake Shoppe. Some of you may remember that we did this last year, and it was a hit!
We wound up being able to donate over $800 from that day to The Cute Syndrome Foundation from a percentage of our profits and with your generous donations! The Cute Syndrome Foundation (TCSF) means a lot to our family because our daughter, Mia, has the SCN8A gene mutation. TCSF has been so helpful, informative, and inviting to our family. Soon after her diagnosis, we were teaching Mia’s doctors about SCN8A because of TCSF’s help and support.
So come join us February 8 and/or 9! Mia will love to see you, and she’s so excited for her purple day! The more awareness we spread, the more people will know, and the more people we can help!
We plan to have extended hours on Saturday, and Sunday we will play by ear seeing as it’s Super Bowl Sunday.
If you’re tired or thirsty those days, you can also head over to Honeybee Nutrition. They will be participating in awareness day by featuring a Mia tea! It’s purple and delicious. 💜
