❤️ THANK YOU for another tremendous week at KP’s Place!
What a way to finish it off with an awesome Saturday and another week filled with familiar faces, new visitors, families gathering, and so many people choosing to spend a part of their summer with us.
Whether you’re one of our regulars, a first-time visitor who found us online, someone referred by a friend, or a traveler passing through Maine, we truly appreciate every single visit. The support this community continues to show us never goes unnoticed.
As we head into our Sunday-Monday break, we wanted to share a few quick updates.
💜 WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S
Over the next several weeks, you’ll be hearing a lot more about our involvement with the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This cause is one that means a great deal to us, and we’re excited to begin raising awareness and support throughout our community.
We’ve officially put our donation poster up inside the restaurant, and if you’d like to contribute to our team, we’d be incredibly grateful. Whether it’s a donation, joining the team, or simply helping spread the word, every bit helps.
Stay tuned—we have some fun fundraising ideas and events planned in the coming months.
🚚 FOOD TRAILER UPDATE
We’re getting very close.
The exciting news is that the trailer is now fully operational. We’ve tested the equipment, systems, generator setup, and overall functionality, and everything is running extremely well.
Right now, we’re focused on the final cleaning, organization, and making a few adjustments to the layout and workflow so it fits the way KP’s Place operates.
This week is a big one as we move into our state inspections, followed by the remaining local inspections and approvals needed to get us one step closer to being fully operational.
We also want to thank everyone who has reached out about catering opportunities, festivals, private events, company functions, fundraisers, weddings, and community gatherings. The interest has honestly exceeded our expectations.
We’re continuing to gather information and build a list of potential events, and as soon as we receive final approvals, we’ll be able to officially begin booking and confirming dates.
Thank you as well to everyone who has sent messages with ideas about where you’d like to see the truck in 2026. We love hearing them and can’t wait to get rolling.
On a personal note, this is going to be a special week for our family. We have several graduations to celebrate with family and friends, including a very big one next weekend for our daughter, Cami. Many of you have watched her grow up through photos and posts here on this page over the last 14 years, and it’s hard to believe we’re already at this milestone.
Thank you for allowing us to share not only our restaurant journey with you, but our family journey as well.
The crew is going to get some well-deserved rest, recharge, and get ready for another busy week ahead.
We’ll see you Tuesday at 11 AM.
❤️ Keith, Melissa and the entire KP’s Place Team❤️
