Five years ago I opened the doors to Coffee Mafia. We’ve sold over 300,000 drinks and served tens of thousands of people coffee. We’ve marched in parades and sold coffee in the pouring rain. We’ve been loud for our community and we’ve mourned the loss of friends and family. We’ve laughed and cried and danced in our little cafe. We’ve thrown drag shows and funerals. We’ve broken espresso machines and been tested by so many trials and missteps and this ever changing world - but I’m most proud that we have survived and will continue to survive. We’re not going anywhere without a fight and I will continue to use my resources to fight for the q***r weirdos of Auburn.

COSAM Outreach’s next Science Cafe is coming up next week! Join us for “Sole Science: the science behind shoes, feet and movement” with Dr. Wendi Weimar and Dr. Christopher Wilburn.

The cafe will take place on Thursday, February 19th from 6 -7 p.m. at Coffee Mafia.
