The “Upstate N.Y. Sour”!

Our twist on the classic New York Sour, clarified through a milk wash for something a little more refined.

Rye whiskey, vanilla bean syrup, lemon juice, and Bordeaux red wine are batched together with a touch of milk, then slowly filtered to produce a beautifully clarified pour.

The trace milk proteins left behind do something wonderful when shaken — they form a delicate foam layer that mimics the silky white cap of a classic egg white sour. All the texture, none of the egg.
