NOW HIRING:
Kitchen Assistant

Lin + Leigh is currently hiring for an entry level position within our kitchen team! This position will support kitchen and event staff during daily routine duties and some additional event related work.

No experience required, you will be trained accordingly.
Flexible weekly schedule with most weeks ranging from 20-30+ hrs. Additional hours available in busy weeks with overtime. (40+)

Duties include but not limited to:
Washing dishes, general kitchen housekeeping, stocking, loading, and light kitchen prep work.
Must be able to lift and move 50lbs.

Starting pay for this position is $16/hr with tons of potential for advancement into other positions/opportunities within our team.

I am not looking for someone to fill a slot. If you can’t show up on time, be on your feet for long periods of time, have a great attitude, and remain flexible with our schedule, this will not be a great fit for you.

We have the best people on the planet and I wouldn’t do our team a disservice by not continuing that standard.

If you or someone you know is interested in applying for this position, email me directly at [email protected] or send a message to our page.

🎥🍽️ This month's Try It Tuesday took us behind the scenes with the recently awarded Best Caterer in Auburn-Opelika - the incredible team at Lin + Leigh Catering - and let’s just say, we left with full hearts, stomachs, (and a serious appreciation for everything that goes into creating an unforgettable event). 👏

Recently named Best Caterer in Best of Auburn-Opelika and Emerging Business of the Year for 2026, Lin + Leigh has built a reputation for delivering exceptional food, thoughtful details, and unmatched hospitality - and after spending a day in their shoes, it's easy to see why.

We got a firsthand look at a day in the life of their team as they prepared more than 120 boxed lunches and a full sit-down dinner for the emergency operations staff supporting the Friendly World Cup match at Jordan-Hare Stadium this month! From early morning prep to final delivery, every detail was carefully planned and executed with excellence. 🤍

What stood out most wasn't just the food - it was the people behind it.

Brian and his team genuinely pour their hearts into every event they serve. Whether it's a wedding, corporate event, tailgate, family gathering, or community celebration, their goal is simple: make the experience seamless, memorable, and stress-free for every client. 🧑‍🍳🥘

And they're continuing to find new ways to serve our community through their recently launched Living Well meal prep program, offering ready-to-go meals (including some fan favorites) that help busy families eat well without sacrificing convenience.

The scale of what they do is impressive, but the care they put into every event is what truly sets them apart. Their passion for hospitality shines through in everything they touch, and we're proud to have businesses like Lin + Leigh helping make community such a special place.
