As a nod to Ferragosto, a major public holiday celebrated in Italy (and now in Auburn, NY, too!), Cafe 108 WILL BE CLOSED from Friday, August 14th through Monday, August 17th so our amazing staff can enjoy some summertime fun of their very own.

“Ferragosto” comes from Latin and means "Augustus' rest" or "holidays of Augustus". It was started in 18 BCE by Emperor Augustus to give workers a break after the harvest. We are so with you on this one, Your Highness!

We’ll see you back at Cafe 108 first thing in the morning on Tuesday, August 18th all bright eyed, bushy tailed and ready to accommodate all of your breakfast, brunch, lunch, snack, coffe, smoothie and cold, refreshing drink needs. Happy Ferragosto!
