It is a much more inclusive identity than "Foodie" or "Craft Beer Lover" or "Coffee Snob", etc. A Burgundian loves all food and drink, in both quality and quantity, shared amongst friends. Burgundian seeks to be a place where all good things come together - products, people, and community. Founded in 2017, Burgundian began doing pop ups at the Attleboro Farmers market, serving its now-famous Liège

Waffles. In 2019, Burgundian added a food truck truck and began expanding to more locations throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. With a Double Decker Bus cafe still being outfitted in England, Burgundian decided to open its first storefront, right in the heart of the downtown Attleboro revitalization. While COVID has delayed this opening, Burgundian is set to open the doors in spring, 2021 (preceded by takeout offerings). We will focus not only on Liège Waffles, but street food and unique regional offerings from around the world, baked goods, specialty coffee & espresso drinks, craft beer, wine, cocktails. Back Story:
The Burgundian (Burr-gun-dee-ann) was first used when the Dutchess of Burgundy reigned over the territories of Northern France and Belgium, and is still in use in the greater Belgian region today. While names like "gourmand" "epicurean" and "foodie" may have become more commonplace, none are as inclusive. The founder and owner of The Burgundian, Shane, dreamed of on one day owning his own coffee during his part-time gig as a barista in high school. The subsequent 15 years took him all over the world, much of it due to his post-college career as a US Army Officer. This included a 3-year tour on the border of France and Belgium, where Shane truly learned the Burgundian way of life. He also learned that the majority of America has been missing out on the greatest waffle in the world: the Liege (lee-ehj) waffle.

Dec 20th, we are BACK with "A Very Burgundian Christmas"! Starting at 3PM, we'll be doing hot chocolate (comes with a free chocolate croissant), & free ornament decorating. At 3:30PM Gundy the Christmas Waffle will be reading the Burgundian Christmas story. After that, we'll be watching ELF!

At 8PM, we'll be showing the classic Christmas movie DIE HARD. We'll have cocktail specials including a Die Hard Cocktail. We'll have free waffles with the purchase of a Christmas Beer Flight.
