You all know I LOVE bringing fun events and talented local small businesses into the shop, and I’m so excited to share this one with you! 🫶🏻💕

Not only do we have MY personally hosted Halloween cookie decorating class coming up, but we’re also welcoming Knot Your Grandmothers as she makes her teaching debut with a super cute crochet class at the beginning of November! 🥹❤️

This is such an exciting step for her as she starts venturing into teaching classes, and I would LOVE to see our community show her some love and support!

✨This project will be a simple introduction to crochet techniques that any experience level can complete.
✨You will be able to take home your completed project as well as all supplies provided including the project pattern. You can practice or make more ornaments at home!

It’s a BUSY week here at Nutty’s Treats & Sweets, and there’s no time for rest when there are cookies to bake and a business to run! 💪🏻

So much for easing back into things slowly, huh? 🤣 Between the bakery, the kiddos, and all the exciting things coming, we are jumping right back in!

But you know what? We’ve got this. 💪🏻💕 One batch at a time, one order at a time, and approximately 47 cups of caffeine later. ☕️😂

Happy Sunday, y’all! 🤠🍪 WE MADE IT!! 🙌🏻

What a WEEK. 😅 Between the medical chaos, recovery, and a weekend full of orders, it was definitely one of the toughest weeks I’ve had in a long time. BUT… every single order was completed, out the door ON TIME, and looking absolutely beautiful! 🤩💪🏻

The final set of the weekend went out this afternoon, and it was my BIGGEST order of the weekend… 8 DOZEN of these western-themed beauties! 🐴🌵🤎 How stinking cute did these turn out?!

Now I’m raising my coffee ☕️ to hoping the medical issues from H*LL are finally behind me so I can get back to doing what I do best… creating delicious, beautiful desserts for all of YOU! 🫶🏻

Thank you to everyone who checked in, sent love, offered help, and continued to support my little business through a pretty difficult week. You have no idea how much it means to me. ❤️

🏈🎀 WEDDING CAKES & FOOTBALL… that’s what Saturdays are all about! 🎂🧡

Today was such a bittersweet way to wrap up the football season! Both of my kiddos got to be CAPTAINS today — one leading on the football field and one cheering her heart out on the sidelines. 🥹🫶🏻 These are the moments that make all the craziness worth it, and I couldn’t be prouder of them!

Once the final whistle blew, it was straight from football mom mode back into baker mode to deliver this three-tiered beauty to one of my absolute favorite wedding venues, The Farmstead! 🤍✨

From cheering on my babies to delivering wedding cakes, Saturdays are a little bit of everything around here. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🥰

Now excuse me while I soak up these last football and cheerleading moments of the season because how did we get here already?! 😭🧡

We are ALMOST THERE… 😅🍪

Only eight dozen more cookies to finish up for the weekend! Thankfully, everything is turning out absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and I can’t wait for you all to see everything! 🤍

I won’t tell you how I’m feeling because I’ll probably get yelled at by most of you… 😂🙈 But the portion of weekend baking that requires me to be on my feet is officially DONE! 🙌🏻 One step at a time, right?!

I SWEAR I’M TAKING IT EASY! 😂🤦‍♀️🍪

But man, does it feel GOOD to be back in my kitchen! 💗

The first post-surgery cookie set is headed out the door today, and I’m working away on the DOZENS of other cookies that need to go out this weekend! 🙌🏻 All the cakes are officially baked, so now it’s time to switch into decorating-machine mode! 🎂✨

Am I probably doing more than I should be? Maybe. 😂 But being back doing what I love feels SO good, and I’m beyond grateful to be feeling well enough to get back at it!

I AM FREE!!! 🙌🏻 And finally HOME! 🥹❤️

I came home with one less gallbladder and, thankfully, I am FINALLY starting to feel better!

I’ll be moving a smidge slower over the next few weeks, but I promise you — these orders WILL get out the door! 💪🏻🍪

Truly, from the absolute bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. To everyone who has reached out, checked in on me, sent messages, offered help, worried about me, and just kept me in your thoughts over these last few days… I appreciate it more than I could ever put into words. ❤️

I’ll be getting back into the kitchen tonight with my mom’s help for a little while. I’m not allowed to do any major lifting or straining just yet, so Mom is stepping in to help me get things done while I take it a little easier. 🥰

I’m also working on finishing up the plans for the rest of this month, and November orders are officially being accepted! 🎄🍪

I do have a little bit of availability left in October — specifically the weekend of October 23rd/24th. If you’ve been waiting to get on the calendar, now is the time!

Thank you for giving this crazy little bakery the grace to slow down for a minute. ❤️

💔 A little update from this baker today…

Unfortunately, I was hospitalized overnight last night, and after a very, very rough two weeks, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Grab & Go this week.

With so many custom orders on my plate right now — including TWO WEDDINGS — I need to put all of my strength, energy, and attention into those commitments while I navigate whatever is going on with my health right now.

I’m not going to lie… this poor baker has had a VERY rough couple of weeks. 😔 I’m doing my best to keep pushing forward, but right now I need to listen to my body and give myself the time and energy I need to get through this.

To everyone who has reached out, checked in, sent messages, offered a helping hand, or simply kept me in your thoughts — THANK YOU. ❤️ It means more than you know, especially right now.

I’m hoping there is finally a little light at the end of this tunnel and that this is the LAST of the medical craziness for a long while. 🙏🏻

Grab & Go will be back when I’m ready. For now, it’s time to focus on getting through this and taking care of the orders already on my calendar. 🫶🏻
