Cultivating our future! 🌱✨

The Board of Directors has selected staff member Lauren Cox as our next Executive Director, effective October 1!

Over her eight years as a farmer advocate and Director of Programs, Lauren has been at the heart of our Farmer Prosperity strategy. Interim ED Suzanne Girdner and Lauren will manage a joint transition through the end of 2026.

With Lauren leading the way, we’re energized to keep investing in Georgia's sustainable growers!

What a night! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Heritage Supper Club for an incredible evening benefiting Georgia Organics & Hope for Haiti. From the amazing food to the wonderful company, it was a beautiful celebration of Georgia’s farmers and the local food system we’re all working to strengthen.

We’re especially grateful to Brandon Blanchard, a Georgia Organics board member and co-owner of Bellevue Hospitality, and the entire Heritage Supper Club crew for opening their doors and sharing their talents with us. Thank you for your generosity and for believing in the work we do.

And, of course, thank you to everyone who dined, donated, raised a glass, and helped make the evening such a success. We’re so grateful to have you in our corner. 🌱❤️

Georgia farmers: October 9, 2026 is the new deadline to apply for NRCS conservation funding through programs including:

🌱 Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)
🌱 Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP)
🌱 Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP)
🌱 Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP)
🌱 NEW: The Regenerative Pilot Program offers support for whole-farm assessments, soil testing, and regenerative conservation practices

We joined our co-hosts and community for the Atlanta premiere of Groundswell — and wow, what an experience. This film made us laugh, made us cry, and left us walking away filled with hope.

The way we farm can either contribute to our demise or help save us from ourselves — and it starts with choosing regeneratively grown food whenever we can.
