Seeing our story shared in the pages of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles feels deeply emotional for us because it represents so much more than a feature. It reflects years of trust, friendships, traditions, and meaningful moments shared around the table together.

What started as a simple desire to bring people closer through omakase has grown into a beautiful community that has supported us, believed in us, and grown alongside us every step of the way. Some of you have welcomed us back year after year for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and life’s biggest milestones — and through those evenings, genuine friendships have been forged that we cherish deeply.

We feel incredibly blessed to have built not just a business, but a community centered around connection, presence, and creating memories that stay with us long after.

As we transition into the warmer months, our Edomae Omakase menu welcomes one of Japan’s most unique seasonal delicacies. In traditional Japanese cuisine, we honor shun (旬)—the fleeting window when an ingredient is at its absolute peak. For Sawagani (Japanese freshwater crab), that time is right now.

Rooted in the centuries-old Edomae tradition of elevating hyper-seasonal catch, serving these tiny crabs is a nod to culinary history. But beyond their delicious, concentrated umami flavor and satisfying crunch, they have a fascinating story:
