🚨 PUBLIC SAFETY WARNING 🚨

After what recently happened at this establishment, I’m urging everyone to PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING HERE.

When an establishment appears to be operating without adequate staffing or visible security, especially after a serious incident, that should concern everyone, not just the people directly involved.

Don’t put yourself or your loved ones in unnecessary danger. Until there are clear answers and meaningful safety measures in place, I strongly encourage people to choose somewhere else.

Praying for everyone who was hurt and affected. 🙏🏾 We need accountability, safety, and immediate attention from the appropriate authorities.

🚨🚨 THIS REQUIRES IMMEDIATE ATTENTION 🚨🚨

According to local news reports, two people were injured and transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, and Atlanta Police responded to the scene.

This is not about a personal dispute. This is about PUBLIC SAFETY.

When a serious violent incident occurs at a public establishment, the community deserves more than silence. We deserve to know that the situation is being taken seriously and that every appropriate step is being taken to protect patrons, employees and the surrounding community.

I am not accusing the establishment or any individual of causing this incident, and I am not claiming to know facts that have not been established by investigators. APD should determine exactly what happened.

But I am calling for IMMEDIATE ACTION at this establishment :

🚨 Fully investigate this incident.
🚨 Review the circumstances surrounding what happened.
🚨 Assess whether there is any continuing risk to the public.
🚨 Take all lawful measures necessary to protect the community while the investigation is conducted.
🚨 If authorities determine that the establishment should not remain open for public safety reasons, take action without delay.

WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER SERIOUS INCIDENT BEFORE THIS IS ADDRESSED.

This is about the people who live here.
This is about the people who work here.
This is about everyone who walks through those doors expecting to make it home safely.

APD AND THE APPROPRIATE CITY AUTHORITIES: PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS NOW AND TAKE WHATEVER LAWFUL ACTION IS NECESSARY TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC.

Unbelievably, after more than a decade of 98+ health scores, the facility received a 77 just six months after we were no longer operating it because of the illegal eviction that took place in March.

The facts
• This is the May 6, 2026 health inspection report for Marquette Restaurant & Lounge.

• The report is public record.

• We were locked out of the property in November 2025 with limited access.

• This inspection occurred approximately six months later. We had been completely not let in since March 2026.

• During our 10+ years operating at this location, we consistently received health inspection scores of 98 and above.

• The May 2026 inspection resulted in a score of 77.

• The dates, scores, and inspection report are all public record.
