That one time back in November of ‘24 (a little after I went MIA on this here platform 😅) when I saw Justin Lawson, Preacher Lawson and Mama Lawson on their comedy tour at City Winery ATL
A time was had!! Jokes were told and laughs were certainly had. Now, Justin and I go back cuz he came to my restaurant in Orlando in 2022 and we kept in touch since. So to be able to see him at his craft, with the family, was truly amazing 🙌🏼
You know it’s not me if I don’t supply the sweets tho 😅 and ofc Preacher didn’t miss an opportunity to roast me lol. All love.
He’s actually on tour and just released a special on YouTube that I shall be watching soon so make sure to support and check it out 🎉

When I (finally do) feel like cooking I throw doooooown 😇 I’m so happy to be in a new space physically, where I can create and experiment until my heart is content and feel good about it!
Sooo truth be told, I want to cook for you guys again buuuuuut doing popups/markets AINT IT 😩😅 so standby for the pivot 🤞🏼
Plus and her friend Timmy have been threatening… I mean… persuading me to come outside for the one time. I’m working on it 🫣😬

Oh.. hey! 😅 I know, I know. It’s been a looong time. Some times you just gotta disappear and then pop out and show n*ggas….. that you’re still around 😬
2025 was an insane year. I wanna say it was terrible honestly, and that would be factual, but all in all I have overcome it. I might talk about it in the future, who knows. BUT I have still been baking and I started cooking again because lemme tell you… at one point it stopped bringing me joy 😩
But when you remove yourself from toxic situation and can see things clearly…perspectives change. Anyway, maybe I’ll go live and talk about it but until then just knoooowwww… IM BAAAAAAACK!!! 🙌🏼🎉💚

Soooo… I did a thing 👀 Spinach Artichoke Dip is cool or whatevaaa but I decided to do something different that was placed on my heart (and tastebuds). You know imma always try to add my Caribbean twist to the different foods I make. This one is no different 🙃
So instead of using regular-degular boring ol’ spinach I decided hmmm why not use Calalloo? For those that don’t know, Calalloo is Jamaican spinach. It brings a different flavor profile; I also added pimento seeds I grated and some clove (jiwof) powder because I’m Haitian ☺️ and ofc instead of plain ol’ tortilla chips or bread I decided to serve it with plantain chips 🍌
I don’t mean to brag buuuuut I👏🏼BE👏🏼DOING👏🏼THIS👏🏼SHEEIITTT👏🏼 !!!! It was my first time making this so I know what I would like to do to tweak it but ultimately it was a success 🥰
