I wasn’t going to make a post about this on facebook but here I go. Ive been running The Chai Bar for 5-6 years and have shared my love for chai, my culture and memories from back home in India. Didn’t really have any experience in running a food business in India and definitely not in USA but I jumped into it making a shift from the corporate world.
I wouldn’t say it was all easy and bed of roses, had ups and downs but definitely enjoyed making chai and bringing all the amazing chai and other products to the audience here. Made connections with many farmers back home, learned a lot about farming, spices, teas, their challenges and how we can make a shift in the lives of farm workers. I’d say that was truly satisfying. I absolutely loved going in the farms, working in there, talking to people and getting to know them and their lives and then coming back home thinking how can I help them and thanked how lucky we are to have so much in our lives. We still complain!
Anyway, after all these deep rooted connections and immense love from all of you who supported I’ve decided to close The Chai Bar. I’m burnt out and making this decision has been one of the hardest I’ve taken in life ever. Chai bar has been my baby and I loved it soo soo much!! Perhaps I’ll always have a super special place in my heart for The Chai Bar.
With that said, if you want to grab any of our chais then now is the time until tomorrow 3 pm. There’s 35% sitewide DISCOUNT available at the checkout at www.thechaibar.us. We will be closing our store at 3 pm online for all orders.
Thank you all for your love and support!!
