💍✨ Couples often ask us for suggestions, and we are happy to help. Here are a few catering tips to keep in mind when hiring a caterer for your wedding. 💛🍽️
Book a caterer 9 to 18 months before your wedding, popular caterers book quickly. ⏳
Let caterers know about any allergies or dietary restrictions well in advance and expect to pay additional fees. 🍽️

A cocktail hour allows for pictures while your guests are nibbling. 📸 The cocktail hour also allows guests to be seated, and tables released one or two at a time. Opening the buffet immediately after the ceremony causes confusion as to who has eaten and who has not eaten. 🍴

A coordinator is a must! No matter how small the wedding. Without a coordinator, details are missing and the timeline does not stay on task. This is a recipe for a day filled with anxiety. 💐✨

✨ Jet Ellis, owner of Simply Catering, started her concessions business in 1988 in South Florida. National special events became a focus (Indianapolis 500, NFL, US Open Golf, MLB, Super Bowl XXV, Concerts, Festivals, and NASCAR), and Jet and her partners were nationally recognized and highly successful in this business sector. 🏈🏁🎤

A move from South Florida to Georgia was necessary to be closer to venues. In 1998, the company relocated to Carrollton. In 1999, while flipping through the yellow pages, Jet noticed that only 2 restaurants were listed in the "catering" category. This is what began as a vision to be the first catering company in Carroll County, and soon after, Simply Catering was born. 💛

Simply Catering was built on a passion for bringing people together through great food and genuine hospitality. What began as Jet's vision to be the first catering company in Carroll County has become a thriving, successful business serving West Georgia and Metro Atlanta, making weddings , corporate events , and special celebrations memorable. 🎉

Jet focused on providing an experience, not just food, and she wanted to give back to the community that supported her business. Simply Catering sponsors over 50 local non-profits, schools, churches, and fundraisers each year. 🌟
