Alright, alright...don't judge lol
I know it's a whole pandemic going on but sometimes when you're out, you NEED lunch. I've been dealing with migraines so properly feeding myself has been helpful in my coping. I try to pack snacks but this past Saturday was FULL and I forgot. I'd been out all day and the smoothie I'd had for brunch, had officially left the building.
Over the weekend after all my market stops (I hit up abt 4-5 on my shopping days--cause I'm very particular abt where certain ingredients come from) I decided to stop at our newest location of Whole Foods in Midtown to make me a salad at their salad bar. They had all the precautionary measures for us patrons...hand sanitizer and a glove apparatus that individually allows you to easily slide your latex-free glove on before you self serve.
I made my salad & we checked out. I'd grabbed some organic potatoes and greens to make broccoli soup this week & I was with my baby cousin, Eric. Thankfully, he drove us home so I could 1/2 way eat my salad AND so I could see THIS! 🤕🤧😖😵
Check out the piece of pasta on my fork! 😩🤢
Not only was the turkey rancid BUT this.🙄👊🏿 Yes, I called back, they apologized & I will be returning this week for a refund and gift card (hopefully) for the true inconvenience as I don't live near downtown.
Eat At Home as Much as Possible (mama told my ass) because so many places are cutting corners now. I've have managers/owners tell me that they've not received their usual ingredients AFTER having ordered and I call back to note the difference. You would think quality of service is at the utmost but people are stressed and some sadly, are doing the bare minimum just to get by.
