One of our favorite ways to spend a Saturday. ๐ฑ๐
Last weekend we were back at Peachtree Road Farmers Market, a market weโve been lucky to be part of for years. We love getting out of the restaurant, connecting with our community, and spending the morning alongside the local farmers who feed us.
We served 100% grassfed and grass finished beef burgers topped with garlic from Little Toccoa Creek Farm, arugula + green onion from Faye Farm, cherry tomatoes from Diamond Creek Farm, and goat cheese from Decimal Place Farm. We also made egg sandwiches with local farm eggs and those same toppings. ๐ณ
This market also gave us an opportunity to honor the life and legacy of Wendell Berry, the farmer, writer, environmentalist and activist who passed away last month. Berry spent his life championing small family farms, caring for the land, strengthening local communities, and reminding us of the connection between how our food is grown and how we live.
Thank you to the farmers who feed us, to everyone who stopped by, and to Peachtree Road Farmers Market for giving us a place to come together. ๐
