Just a little heads-up for all of our Eagles Diner family! ❤️

We will be CLOSED Saturday, September 5th, Sunday, September 6th & Monday, September 7th so our crew can enjoy a little Labor Day weekend with their families.

✨ We will be back OPEN bright and early Tuesday, September 8th, ready to see all of your smiling faces and feed y’all good! 🍳🥓☕️

🏆 Y’ALL!!! Look what we got in the mail!! 🏆
I’m not even gonna lie, I am absolutely ecstatic over this. Eagles Diner was recognized as Best Diner in Athens for 2026 based on Google Reviews and I seriously could cry. ❤️
We have put SO much into this place. The early mornings, long days, changes, stress, learning as we go, and trying our best every single day to make Eagles better than it was the day before.
And the biggest part of this is YOU GUYS. Every review, every share, every recommendation, every person that comes in and supports us — y’all are the reason this means so much.
I’m so proud of our crew, I’m proud of what we’re building, and I’m just so dang thankful.

Yesterday y’all nearly cleaned us OUT before noon, so we figured we better give everybody a little head start today. 😂❤️

The Eagles Diner lunch bar goes live at 10:30 AM, and we’re getting everything hot, fresh, and ready for y’all now. 🔥

So if Eagles Diner is in your Friday lunch plans…

Come hungry. Come early. And don’t blame us if your favorite side disappears before you get here. 🤣

❤️ LIMESTONE COUNTY… Y’ALL SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT TODAY. ❤️

We are seriously overwhelmed with gratitude.

From the moment y’all started coming in, you did not stop. We saw so many new faces today, packed the dining room at different times throughout lunch, and even had a group come back to the bar for seconds because they enjoyed the food that much. 🥹

By around 11:30–11:45, y’all had nearly wiped us out. By noon, we were down to just a little chicken & dressing, a few fried green tomatoes, and barely a spoonful of a couple sides.

And all we can say is…

THANK YOU.

Thank you for trying us.
Thank you for coming back.
Thank you for telling people about us.
Thank you for supporting a little local diner.
And thank you for giving us the chance to feed you. ❤️

Days like today remind us exactly why we do what we do.
