Louise Southern Kitchen is affectionately named after my late Grandmother, and is our passion project to showcase our love of classic southern food, and our inspiration, my Memaw, Louise. An exciting high end southern comfort food truck featuring dishes of various classic dishes of the south, as well as modern takes on old family favorites, with modern techniques and innovation.
Louise also stands for change. Over the course of the pandemic, our industry has gone through countless changes in order to survive. We vow to be the positive shift in restaurant/kitchen culture that overtakes the toxic traits of old. Featuring an advanced tipshare program to ensure all staff has a livable wage, securing enough start up capital to offer health benefits, or prioritizing securing benefits asap, and a 4 day work week to keep the mind and body fresh.
Louise is dedicated to being the change we wish to see not only in our industry, but in the world. One of inclusiveness, acceptance, and hard work with unwavering standards for excellence. With these policies in place, we will be putting our business in the best possible position to succeed by avoiding burnout from staff. It will allow us to maintain laser like focus on our objective of unforgettable service, incredible food, and great ambiance to boot.
