Michelle is a loving mother, grandmother, friend, and the owner of Driftwood Dragonfly. She has recently been diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer, and is beginning chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Michelle has poured so much love into our community, and now it’s our turn to surround her and her family with that same love and support.

We have had many people asking how they can help our beloved Michelle. Other than the needs expressed on the giveinkind page, here are some current needs:

1. Support the shop! This is the biggest support we can ask for, as we are all working as a community to keep things running smoothly. Come in and buy a tea or order online!
2. Leads on a hyperbaric chamber. If anyone knows where Michelle could find one to use, please DM us 🙏
3. Attend our classes and events. We are going to be bringing in some classes to help support the shop, as well as a fundraising benefit event. Stay tuned and join us when the times come!
4. Keep the collective mindset. This has always been Michelle's goal. Driftwood Dragonfly is a space for community and love. Visit, engage, and stay connected with each other 💖

As an update on Michelle, they are working on setting up radiation and other potential treatments. Keep praying and sending your love and good vibes to Michelle and her family.

We have some focaccia bread and protein bites in the shop! The bread is $8 for plain, $10 for butter and herb, and $15 for other flavors. The protein bites are 6 for $7 😋

Michelle is home and adjusting well. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, among numerous volunteer requests and donations. This is a major adjustment for her and her family.

Michelle's village is strong, and there is so much love and gratitude for the help to this next chapter in her life. Any help is appreciated, and we have started a page to help facilitate more than just monetary donations.

As most of you may know, Michelle is a mother and grandmother. She has 2 boys still in school, and two older sons who are working to help care for the family. As they are about to start back to school, there is going to be a need for meals, transportation, and possibly more down the road. If you are familiar with Michelle and her family and would like to offer help in this way, you may reach out via DM or use the page linked in the comments to respond to any requests that will appear.

If you know her address, please do not visit unannounced. We also ask that you do not call, as this is a very stressful time for everyone in the family. Again, all of the love is appreciated, and we want to make sure our Michelle is well taken care of.
