I want to first start off by saying I appreciate all the love, kind, and heart warming messages that flooded my messenger, phone, and comment section. Your time and uplifting spirit is seen and appreciated.
I also want to take a moment to share something really important with you all. I’ve started a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to cover the funeral costs, related expenses, and outstanding debts following the tragic passing of my husband, who allegedly transitioned over by su***de, hanging himself in a park. Overnight, my life has changed. Before this life-changing event, I was already struggling to stay above water and was pulling myself out of a dark place. I could no longer pull us both; he became too heavy. I needed him to stand on his own and love himself above all. A bill, heavy heart, confusion, and grieving come attached to the transition of my husband. I have a lot on my plate: three kids & I am a student at HCC, I aim to stay focus and push forward. I must keep going, and if you have it to give, it will make my load just a little lighter. Mental health is real, and he had been in the fight untreated since he was a young child, having many incidents where he threatened his own life. We fought a long fight. On his best days, he was a bright light in our lives, always making us laugh and sharing his love for cooking and watching me eat his food.
Every little bit helps, and your support can make a huge difference! If you can, check it out and consider donating or sharing it with your friends.
