Hello, neighbors!
I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out from Chef Gregory's Barbecue Smokehouse at 6550 El Camino Real, where we proudly serve what many say is the best barbecue in San Luis Obispo County! As we head into winter, we could really use your support to keep our doors open and continue bringing you our delicious offerings.
To show our appreciation for our local community, we’re excited to offer a 15% discount on everything on our menu, including our popular gourmet food products—think barbecue sauces, our irresistible peanut brittles, and the fantastic low-sodium ginger soy dressing! Also offering a 10% discount on gift certificates . Just mention this ad to receive your discount when placing your order to enjoy this special. This offer is good through December 13,and most likely will run this again at the beginning of next year
We truly value all the support you’ve given us and want to keep serving you the flavors you love!
We know the winter months can be quiet, especially without tourism, but we’re dedicated to providing you with great food in a cozy atmosphere. Keep an eye on our hours, which you can find on our website and Google listing.
We’re located right across from Sunken Gardens at Marv’s Gas Station—just 10 feet away from success, as I like to say! If you haven’t visited us yet, or if you’ve been meaning to stop by, now’s the perfect time to indulge in some barbecue, salads, or holiday gifts like our delicious peanut brittles—available in flavors like Maple Bacon, Vanilla Butter, and Toasted Butter Pecan.
Thank you for being part of our community! We can’t wait to serve you and hear your feedback. Remember to tell your friends, and let’s make this winter one to remember!
Warmest regards,
Chef Gregory
I also wanted to give you a heads-up that next week, I’ll be going in for surgery to fix a hernia, which means we’ll be closed for several days. If you’d like to stock up, now is the perfect time to place orders for our vacuum-packed, already cooked baby back ribs or tri-tip and beef ribs. These items are available by the entire rack or by the pound for the tri-tip.
Reheating is simple! If you’re familiar with sous vide, you’re in luck. For baby back ribs, here's a quick guide:
Let the vacuum-packed ribs sit on the counter for a couple of hours.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil, then turn off the heat.
Immerse the vacuum-sealed ribs in the water for 15-20 minutes.
Remove them from the water, cut open the bag, add some extra seasoning I provide, and enjoy with or without barbecue sauce!
For beef ribs, just follow the same steps. For the tri-tip, heat water to 140°F and let it sit with the vacuum-packed bag for 10 minutes before enjoying!
Remember, all vacuum-packed items need to be ordered at least one day in advance.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to serving you soon!
