Some nights stay with you forever.

Tonight was one of those nights ❤️

As a family-owned restaurant in Astoria, we’ve been fortunate to meet so many wonderful people over the years. But tonight felt especially meaningful as we welcomed Robert Davi, his friends, and the owners of the beloved Goonies House to Fulio’s.

For so many of us who grew up here, The Goonies isn’t just a movie—it’s part of the story of our town. It’s part of our childhood memories, our community, and the magic that makes Astoria so special.

A truly special thank you goes to Robert Davi. For so many, he will always be remembered as Jake Fratelli, one of the most unforgettable villains in movie history. But tonight, we had the privilege of experiencing the man behind the character-a gracious, generous, and genuinely kind person who made everyone feel welcome. Thankfully, he left the Fratelli mischief at the door and brought nothing but warmth, laughter, and great company. Robert, your visit meant more to us than words can express, and we are deeply honored that you chose to spend part of your evening with the Fulio’s family.

To the owners of the Goonies House, thank you not only for joining us this evening, but for everything you do to help keep the spirit of The Goonies alive in Astoria. Year after year, you bring fans, friends, neighbors, and visitors together to celebrate a piece of movie history that means so much to our community. The joy, excitement, and sense of connection that this event brings to Astoria is something truly special, and we’re grateful for the care and dedication you put into making it happen.
