A quick clarification from Fulio’s ❤️
This evening, we had a customer express concern and tell us that it was illegal for a service dog to be inside our restaurant. We want to take a moment to respectfully clarify that this is not the case.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Oregon law, legitimate service animals are permitted in restaurants and other areas open to the public. Oregon’s food-safety guidance specifically states that service animals are allowed in restaurant dining areas.
Service animals are working animals trained to perform specific tasks for individuals with disabilities. They are not considered pets under the law, and businesses open to the public are required to accommodate them.
At Fulio’s, we will always do our best to follow Oregon law and make our restaurant welcoming and accessible to everyone in our community.
We appreciate our guests, and we also appreciate understanding and respecting the rights of individuals who rely on service animals. ❤️
For anyone interested in the actual Oregon guidelines, they are available through the Oregon Department of Agriculture. However we do NOT allow bullies in Fulios BTW and will respectfully be asked to leave!! Thank you ❤️
